During this year’s edition of Fantasy & Magic Con, attendees will meet not one, but two voice actors from Baldur’s Gate 3. Joining Crispin Redman will be Tim Downie, who portrays the wizard Gale Dekarios.
Tim Downie is one of the more experienced actors working in the British entertainment industry. He began his acting career in the 1990s, appearing in the police drama The Bill and the soap opera Hollyoaks.
Since then, his portfolio has expanded to include major productions such as Paddington, Transformers: The Last Knight, and Good Omens. In recent years, he has also been active in video games, with his most recognizable role being the voice of the wizard Gale Dekarios in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Tim Downie, beyond film and video games, also performs on stage. He has appeared in numerous theatre productions, including Charlie and Henry and the comedy Fat Christ.
In addition, he is also a playwright, with his works being staged at various prestigious arts festivals. Among his theatre pieces are The Dead Moon, The Curse of Elizabeth Faulkner, and The Story Project 2 – Love, Lies and London.
At Fantasy & Magic Con, Tim Downie will take part in a panel dedicated to Baldur’s Gate 3 on Saturday and Good Omens on Sunday.. The actor will also participate in photo-op sessions and autograph signings on both days of the event.
