We have great news for all fans of J.R.R. Tolkien! Manu Bennett, who portrayed the brutal Azog the Defiler in The Hobbit film trilogy, will be flying to Warsaw for Fantasy & Magic Con. The popular actor is returning to Poland after six years to meet and talk with his fans.
Officially! Manu Bennett will appear this summer at Tor Służewiec in Warsaw.
The actor is best known for portraying strong, distinctive characters. In the film industry he gained recognition for his role as the Orc leader Azog the Defiler, whom he played in The Hobbit film trilogy as well as in the video game LEGO The Hobbit.
The New Zealander also delivered a memorable performance in Spartacus, where he portrayed one of the leaders of the gladiator uprising, Crixus, and was the only cast member to appear in all four seasons.
Fans of the DC Comics universe may also recognize him as Slade Wilson from the TV series Arrow. Additionally, throughout his career the actor has taken part in many action scenes alongside popular wrestlers such as John Cena and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

During Fantasy & Magic Con, Manu Bennett will take part in, among other things, a Q&A panel and autograph sessions. Fans will also have the opportunity to talk with the actor and take a commemorative photo with him. Manu will be available on both days of the convention.
